Iron Flower Performance Terms and Conditions (Ts&Cs)

All Participants must agree and be aware of the following terms and conditions and must accept the risks associated with these activities.

1. Booking
 

1.1 To process a booking Nan Hua Temple requires a completed Application Form and Terms & Conditions declaration form (and an indemnity form for participants under 18) from each Participant together with proof of payment for the number of tickets required. All documents are to be emailed to: info@nanhua.co.za.
1.2 Participants booking by e-mail or facsimile would have been deemed to read and accept the booking conditions and to have signed on the Terms & Conditions declaration.
1.3 A booking is accepted and becomes binding only from the date when Nan Hua Temple has confirmed acceptance in writing by means of a “confirmation of booking e-mail”. Nan Hua Temple reserves the right to decline any booking at its discretion.
1.4 Bookings are treated as provisional and are only confirmed once the funds have cleared into the bank account of Nan Hua Temple.

1.5 Should you wish to contribute to the Temple, please contact us for the donations account.

2. Purchased Tickets

2.1 Upon purchase of the ticket(s), the Participants confirm that they will adhere to all rules, regulations, and terms and conditions of the event at all times. 
2.2 The Participants would not hold the Nan Hua Temple liable for any damages and losses at the event.
2.3 Event is strictly on a no ticket no entry basis. Misplaced tickets will not be reissued.
 

3. Cancellation and refunds
 

3.1 In the event of a cancellation by participants, the funds paid are non-refundable.
 

4. Protection of Personal Information
 

4.1 The Participant agrees to give (where applicable) honest, accurate, and current information about himself/ herself to Nan Hua Temple and to maintain and update such information when necessary.
4.2 The Participant’s information and personal information collected by Nan Hua Temple may be used for the following reasons:
4.2.1 the processing its personal information on the website of Nan Hua Temple;
4.2.2 transferred to and maintained on servers located outside of South Africa and stored there. If that happens, the Participant’s personal information will only be transferred to and stored in a country that has equivalent, or better, data protection legislation than South Africa;
4.2.3 direct marketing of future events and activities at the Nan Hua Temple.
4.3 By submitting any information to Nan Hua Temple in any form the Participant further acknowledges that such conduct constitutes an unconditional, specific, and voluntary consent to the processing of such information by Nan Hua Temple under any applicable law in the manner contemplated above, which consent shall, in the absence of any written objection received from the Participant, be indefinite and/or for the period otherwise required in terms of any applicable law.
4.4 Should the Participant believe that Nan Hua Temple has utilised the Participant’s personal information contrary to applicable law, the Participant shall first resolve any concerns with Nan Hua Temple. If the Participant is not satisfied with such process, the Participant has the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa.
 

DECLARATION
 

5. Nan Hua Temple may update this declaration and terms and conditions from time to time. Any changes that Nan Hua Temple makes will be posted on Nan Hua Temple’s website and will be effective from the date of posting.
6. I hereby declare that I am physically and mentally fit to participate in the event and will adhere to all rules and regulations of the event. I will ensure that my child(ren) under 18 will be accompanied by me as his/her/their parents and/or guardians at all times. I agree to assume all risks for my behaviour during the event. I will not be under the influence and be in possession of alcohol and drugs on the day of the event and will remain in demarcated areas for my safety, any failure to abide by the rules will result in my removal from the event. I understand that I am participating at my own risk and I will not hold Nan Hua Temple, its staff, volunteers, event organizers, and any associated individuals or entities from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to injury, loss, or damage sustained as a result to my participation to the event.
