What We Do
Buddha's Light International Association and Nan Hua Temple aim to help local residents in poor areas and caring for the children of the country. There are a number of donation projects every year, such as Winter relief, Hot lunches at schools (feeding scheme), computer donations, wheelchair donations and many more.

Our Achievements
Durban Donation
On 12 July 2025 BLIA Durban Chapter held a wheelchairs donation at Phoenix City High school to celebrate Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva's Enlightenment Day. Chapter President Ji Lian and volunteers led the event. A total of 74 wheelchairs were donated to recipients. The event was attend by 200 people.

Buddha's Light International Association and Nan Hua Temple will continue to uphold the spirit of

Great compassion for everybody as one"
to serve the people of Africa, so as to achieve everyone's family happiness and social harmony.
